Good morning. The Wildlife Services-Colorado program has a vacancy for a wildlife specialist (technician) position in Garfield County, Colorado. The county seat is Rifle. This has been a challenging position to find potential candidates. Please distribute to potential candidates. The position will primarily entail reducing damage caused by coyotes to livestock, beaver damage to roads and agriculture, and rodent damage to property. We are seeking an individual with some experience using animal traps and willingness to help others. The applicant will be required to learn to work with dogs to alleviate damage. The position is currently a seasonal position. However, we are working to extend to a longer seasonal or full-time position.

If there are questions then contact Emily Blizzard at 720-656-8786 or me. Thank you.

Martin
