Virtual DIY Food Festival
When: Thursday, February 25th at 6:00 pm

National Society of Minorities in Hospitality, Society for Hospitality & Foodservice Managers, and Spartan Beverage Society will be joining forces to host a Virtual DIY Food Festival in celebration of Black History Month. 

All those participating will prepare a main dish from the  African American culture and four side dishes featuring four different cultures from around the world. All participating students will also be reimbursed for the ingredients used during this event. Click the button below to register.

Each year, The School awards over $300,000 in Scholarships to Hospitality Students. Click the button below to apply electronically or to follow the instructions to apply for an external scholarship.

Virtual Food Drive 

AHLA wants to help stock up the food donation stands which help those who are in need. This is a great way to give back to our local Lansing community and a more unique opportunity than the standard canned food drives held. 

Share the attached bingo card with your friends on social media (Tag us: @AHLAMSU!) Have them donate in whatever way is best for you! (Zelle, Venmo, Paypal, cash, etc.) Once you are done fundraising, fill out the Google Form (linked below bingo card) to either select specific items or enter in a monetary amount. The board adds up to $60, if you fill up the board you will be entered to a raffle to win a gift card of your choosing! 

The form will be open until the end of February. Donations will be delivered early March.
