Hello!
The Entomology Research and Outreach Fellowship (EROF) is a new paid internship developed by Entomology Graduate students at Michigan State University. The goal
of EROF is to promote opportunities for early-career students to conduct research with insects, plants, and nature with engaged mentors and financial support.
The program is a 12-week full-time immersive research experience and financial support for these students, beginning in May 2021. The pay rate is $15/hour, and students
are eligible for a health care plan. Any person who is currently enrolled or a recent graduate (within the last year) of a 2- or 4-year institution is eligible to apply.
Students from historically excluded or disenfranchised groups are especially encouraged to apply!
The deadline for applications is
March 15, 2021, and students can apply here https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdBsaJeK3Ft0tFG6My_9y_bMFLixWo3XOEXc6lSCOOckW2jSw/viewform.
The EROF team will be hosting two virtual information sessions where prospective students can learn more about the fellowship on
February 24 from 5-6pm and February 26 from 3-4pm. If you’re interested in attending one of these sessions, please register
here
https://forms.gle/aoeEeTRCYYVGqK3A9. If you are unable to attend either of these times and have additional questions, please contact the EROF team for accommodations.
