Want to learn how to diversify farm incomes, increase biodiversity, and sequester carbon all in one field-season?
 
Apply to become an agroforestry apprentice through Savanna Institute’s apprenticeship program for the 2021 season. One application can connect you with up to four of 12 different mentor/host farms throughout the Midwest. Part-time, full-time, 10-week (and longer) opportunities to gain farming experience with perennial crops are open. Specific information about timing, pay, housing, locations, and job/farm descriptions can be found here. Some opportunities include work with livestock and silvopasture grazing systems.
