The Extension Support Specialist will provide outreach leadership for NYSG extension and research activities related to the Great Lakes Action Agenda on topics such as water quality, habitat, resilience, invasive species, water supply, and community resilience among other issues. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance and protect New York’s Great Lakes, Great Rivers, and the communities which depend upon them. For full consideration, applications must be submitted by March 1, 2021. This position is full-time (40 hours/week) and will be located in Buffalo or Newark, New York; The candidate can work from either location. This is a one-year appointment with possible extension depending on funding and performance. No relocation assistance is provided for this position.
