From: Pratt, Marc W - APHIS <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Thursday, January 21, 2021 1:53 PM To: APHIS-WS airport personnel <[log in to unmask]> Cc: Atkinson, Spencer W. - APHIS <[log in to unmask]> Subject: FW: 2021 AK Seasonal Positions Good Morning! Are you looking for a short term change? Do you know someone that is looking to get their feet wet and gain valuable airport experience with Wildlife Services? Did you grow up reading outdoor life, reading stories and exploits about the last frontier, and just need to scratch that itch for adventure? (ok, I may have dated myself there….) The Alaska District is now recruiting for our seasonal airport Specialists and would appreciate your help in getting the word out! We are looking for individuals that are interested in becoming the next Airport Wildlife Biologist, but need to start somewhere, and build that resume. We have openings at both Eielson Air Force Base and Fort Wainwright in the interior of Alaska, and JBER and Anchorage International, in the Anchorage area. Don’t let COVID and the “closure” of the Canadian Border deter you. The border is still open to essential travel, and we can help navigate that. I have attached the announcement, and a short description of the positions that we have open. If anyone is interested, or would like to learn more, please reach out to: Spencer Atkinson Assistant District Supervisor-Alaska [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> 907-745-0871 Wildlife Services is full of great people that started their careers in Alaska, and I would like to keep that tradition going!
