This position requires an energetic and creative student to teach and lead environmental education programs including school programs, camps, public programs, interpretive hikes, and other special events. The intern will work with naturalists and will staff the information desk of the Grass River Center in Bellaire, MI and provide information to visitors. The intern may also assist in surveying and monitoring natural resources through our conservation program. This position is a paid internship supported by the Worthington Family Foundation and the Bellaire Rotary. The pay rate for 2021 is $9.65/hr. Timeline: Applications accepted January - March, with interviews typically held in March. Position usually runs mid-May through August.
