Subject: Opening to post

Julie,
UNI is searching for a Biology Education faculty member, and I would like to request that you post it on the GEOED-Research listserv. It's not a direct Geo position, but is a DBER opening that would work with the Science Ed Program. Thanks.

The University of Northern Iowa's Department of Biology seeks applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Biology Education, starting August 2021. Responsibilities include teaching introductory level courses in Biology for majors and/or non-majors and in Science Education including secondary science teaching methods, inquiry and investigation-based life science for elementary education majors, and graduate level Science Education education. The successful candidate will be expected to advise undergraduate biology teaching majors and Science Education master's students; and develop an active research program in Biology Education or Science Education that engages undergraduates and master's students.

To apply, visit http://jobs.uni.edu/<https://urldefense.com/v3/__http:/jobs.uni.edu/__;!!HXCxUKc!mHO7739Onz-17hxA5WC2xOayqn5ty38rjPWafkc_F9XBve1zqKBfQAGE2aSSRGQ$> and submit application by February 15, 2021 for full consideration.
