Dear AIB Member, 

In continuing to retain the positive momentum in the rejuvenated STEP Project, I am delighted to announce that the first event in the STEP Conversations Series 2021 will be held on Wednesday, January 27th from 2-3 PM (GMT) Ireland Time, which is  9-10 AM (GMT-5)

About Our Speaker

Our inaugural speaker for the STEP Conversations Series is Prof Donald O. NeubaumEditor in Chief of Family Business Review. Prof. Neubaum will discuss 'Learnings from the Frontline - The acceptance and rejection of papers at top tier journals'.

Donald O. Neubaum is a DeSantis Distinguished Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship at Florida Atlantic University. Previously, he was the Senior Associate Dean for Research and Faculty in the College of Business at Oregon State University. Currently, he is the Editor in Chief of Family Business Review (FBR), the top journal in the field of family business research. From 2011 to 2020, he was an Editor for Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice (ETP). He also serves or has served on the editorial review boards of Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management (JOM), Journal of Management Studies, ETP, and FBR, among others. In 2019, he served as the Chair for the Entrepreneurship Division of the Academy of Management. His work has appeared in outlets such as Academy of Management Annals, JOM, Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Product Innovation Management, ETP, and FBR and has been cited over 9,600 times.

There is a fee of €50 for non-STEP members. 

 
About the STEP Conversation Series
The STEP Conversations Series 2021 will take place every quarter, where we will be inviting a thought leader in our field (and from other fields) to share their insights on family business research. STEP Members will have exclusive free access to all the STEP Conversation 2021 events.
