Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor (Strategy/International Business/ Entrepreneurship) in the Department of Management [Ref. B/424/09]

 

The Department of Management, one of six academic departments in the College of Business, conducts teaching and research in the broad areas of management, including strategy and policy, international business, innovation, entrepreneurship, organizational behavior and human resources management.  The Department provides a vigorous and supportive environment that is conducive to the pursuit of excellent research and teaching.  The working conditions and compensations are comparable with major research universities worldwide.  Its faculty take up leadership roles in many professional societies and scholarly journals.  For details of the Department, please visit the website at https://www.cityu.edu.hk/mgt/.

 

Requirements:  A PhD in Management or related disciplines.  Candidates should demonstrate the ability/potential to publish in top-tier management journals as well as excellence in the classroom.  We are specifically looking for candidates in the disciplines of strategy, international business, and/or entrepreneurship.  Teaching experience at the postgraduate level is a plus but not required.

 

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be driven by market competitiveness and individual performance.  Excellent fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes, and relocation assistance (where applicable).  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract.
