Dear Geoscience Education Community,

I am writing on behalf of the GSA Geoscience Education Division. Each year, the GED awards two Iris Moreno Totten Education Research Awards to presenters at the annual GSA Meeting. The Totten award is designed to promote and disseminate high quality research being conducted by students and junior faculty in geoscience education. To make the award process a success, we need to recruit a committee of senior researchers to review and evaluate eligible GSA presentations from this year's meeting. Due to the nature of the meeting, we are fortunate to be able to go back and re-watch presentations, which will benefit the review process and minimize conflicts of interest in judging. To serve on the review committee, you need to be 1) a senior researcher (assoc. prof. or above) and 2) have been registered for the 2020 annual GSA meeting. It is anticipated that serving on the panel will require about 1-2 hours of your time over the next month.

If you are interested in serving on the Totten review committee, please let me know. And thank you for your interest in supporting students and early career professionals in our field!
