Subject: FROM SCOTT: ZP-II term fisheries biologist vacancy announcements
To: _NMFS WCR <[log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>>

Dear WCR Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce the much anticipated advertisement of several full-time term Fisheries Biologist ZP-0482-2 openings on USA Jobs.

The announcement opens tomorrow November 4, 2020, and will close on November 19, 2020.

At this time, we are recruiting seven positions in multiple divisions and locations. The eventual number of selections will be determined by the FY21 budget, and any new reimbursable agreements. I encourage anyone who is interested in a band 2 term position to apply.

The following vacancies have been approved for this bundled recruitment:

  * Sustainable Fisheries Division - 1 position in the Coastal Pelagic Species, Pacific Halibut, and Ecosystem Branch

  * California Coastal Area Office - 2 total positions funded under the CalTrans and FEMA reimbursable agreements

  * California Central Valley Office - 3 total positions, 2 funded under BOR reimbursable agreements and 1 in the San Joaquin River Restoration Program

  * Oregon/Washington Coastal Office - 1 position in the Central Puget Sound Branch

Potential Duty Stations include: Long Beach CA, Portland OR, Seattle WA, Santa Cruz CA, Santa Rosa CA, Klamath Falls OR, Arcata CA, Sacramento CA, and Lacey OR, Ellensburg WA, and Boise ID. While successful candidates will need to be associated with a given duty station, we will consider selections that would work remotely from a given office.
