WARM INVITATION TO JOIN THE FIRST SUSTAINABILITY SIG EVENT
Dear AIB Members,
We are excited to inform you about the first official AIB Sustainability-SIG event, a workshop at the upcoming AIB-Canada and iBEGIN Conference on November 20th from 5:15 - 6:15 pm UTC.
This workshop will focus on sustainability issues that have emerged from the pandemic and the implications on research, teaching and policy.
Please find below the workshop structure:
- A short talk by the AIB President Jeremy Clegg
- A short SIG-launch talk by the SIG Chairs (John Dilyard and Shasha Zhao) about the SIG and plans
- A short talk from three invited speakers (Axele Giroud, Oded Shenkar, Sarah Ku) about the sustainability issues that have emerged from the pandemic and what that means for research, teaching and policy
- Opening the floor for 'all-inclusive conversations', giving the attendees a chance to discuss their views or ask questions concerning the implications of the pandemic and on post-pandemic research, teaching, and policy
making, as well as networking
