The Department of Global Business & Trade at WU Wien (Vienna University of Economics and Business) is currently inviting applications for one PhD position (officially called a pre-doc Teaching and Research Associate position).

 

The department hosts one of the largest International Business/International Management institutes in Europe with a strong focus on delivering highest quality research, teaching, and industry cooperation. Current faculty include Desislava Dikova, Igor Filatotchev, Jan Hendrik Fisch, Alexander Mohr, Jonas Puck, Phillip Nell  and Guenter Stahl (more information on the institute here: https://www.wu.ac.at/en/iib/iib/.

 

You will be working with Prof. Desislava Dikova and her team. We are looking for a self-motivated, excellent MSc graduate with the ambition to write and publicly defend a doctoral dissertation on the topic of digital health. The paid position includes a teaching load of two undergraduate courses per year (24 contact hours each). During the first year, you would be exempted from teaching. The position is limited to a period of 6 years, starting on January 2021 (commencement date subject to change). The minimum gross monthly salary is €2.196,75, subject to adjustment if candidates can document relevant prior professional experience.
