The following are posted to the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s website if you have any undergraduates or recent graduates interested.



•         Environmental Resources Technician – will work with Environmental resource Specialist on brownfields, property inventories, and also under the BIA eat safe fish information gathering and distribution contract. Full-time

•         Policy & Contract Specialist – will work with Environmental team/ Planning department, other departments, and agencies to identify and develop policy to protect Tribal Environmental and Natural Resources, especially those related to culturally significant species and Lake Huron Watershed health, represent the Tribe with agency partners, identify priority restoration projects, assist in the management of GLRI contracts, and review and develop comments on issues impacting Tribal waters. Funding is supported by BIA Tribal Initiative, GLRI, and Tribal Capacity funding. Full-time

•         Environmental Education Coordinator – will work with Environmental team/ Planning department to gather information from the Tribal Community to strengthen our environmental and natural resource related programs, provide outreach to the Tribal Community and the public regarding environmental topics and  the Tribal programs. Funding is supported by BIA Tribal Capacity contract. Part-time – full-time dependent on funding allocations.
