CAREER EXPO:
CAREER EXPO - The School of Hospitality Business’s annual student-run career fair event - is right around the corner! Many of the nations leading hospitality companies will be in attendance to network with and recruit our talented students for internship and full-time positions, so mark your calendars!
CAREER EXPO will be VIRTUAL this year and will take place on HANDSHAKE on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.
Students will begin their CAREER EXPO experience by attending a keynote address from the President of Aimbridge Hospitality, Robert Burg, at 12:40 PM - 2:00 PM on Zoom.
Then, from 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM on Handshake, students will have the opportunity to attend company informational presentations where you can learn more about some of the companies before the career fair itself!
Finally, the career fair will take place from 4:30 PM - 8:30 PM, during which students can attend 10-minute individual sessions with recruiters. These sessions are “in person, live chats” so business professional dress is expected of all hospitality students!
Please note it is important that you register for your Handshake account through MSU if you have not already done so. You will be use Handshake to sign up for info sessions and one on one time slots with companies and recruiters so the earlier you register, the more time slots you can choose from! Also of interest, the Broad College of Business’s career fair - Careers in Business - will take place on Handshake on Thursday, September 24, 2020 from 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM. We encourage you to register for this fair and use it to familiarize yourself with the handshake platform and practice for CAREER EXPO! Follow the link below to register:
