On September 24, NCAT's ATTRA - Sustainable Agriculture Program is hosting a virtual workshop with the 34th St. Wholistic Garden & Education Center located in Gulfport, MS. Presenting at this workshop will be Rockiell Woods, NCAT's Gulf States Regional Director, and James Franklin, 34th St. Wholistic Garden's Executive Director.
Mr. Franklin will share his experiences running the community garden during the COVID-19 pandemic, and will share how urban community gardens and urban farms can help address food security especially during times of crisis. Woods will discuss ways to manage financial risk on a farming operation.
