The Department of Economics, Management and Statistics (DEMS) of the University of Milano-Bicocca invites applications for a 24-month Research Grant in Technological Innovation and Organizational Change.
ProfileThe ideal candidate will be ready to carry out research on the adoption of digital technology, smart working and new managerial practices during and after the lockdown. The candidate must possess a sound background and expertise in the analysis of firm-level data. We are looking for candidates with strong research potential who have obtained an MSc or PhD in Management or Business Economics or Applied Economics or Applied Industrial Organization or Economics and Statistics.
About the DepartmentDEMS employs a group of 60 full-time faculty members, as well as 39 postdocs and PhD students. The department is committed to investing heavily in the ongoing development of its faculty. The research and teaching area of the Department includes theoretical and applied economics, statistics, marketing and business strategy.
The Management group of DEMS has published in top-tier general and field journals such as Health Policy, Industrial and Corporate Change, International Journal of Industrial Organization, International Journal of Central Banking, Journal of Economic Geography, Journal of Economic Behavior&Organization, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Technology Transfer, Public Management Review, Research Policy, Small Business Economics, Strategic Management Journal and Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal. Other DEMS research groups have published in top-tier general and field journals such as American Economic Review, Economic Journal, Journal of Behavioral Decision Making, Annals of Statistics, Journal of Econometrics, European Economic Review, Management Science and Energy Policy.
