Weekly Wednesday Workshop

Farming Cooperatively

Due to technical difficulties, our guest scheduled for the August 19 workshop was not able to join us. We have rescheduled for this week, August 26. See below for details.

On August 26, NCAT's ATTRA - Sustainable Agriculture Program is hosting another virtual workshop in our Weekly Wednesday Workshop series. Joining Felicia Bell, Agriculture Specialist in NCAT's Gulf States Region, will be Barbara Shipman of Cottage House, Inc. in Southeastern Alabama.

Ms. Shipman will share the history of the cooperative and its non-profit component that assists South Alabama farmers. She will also discuss the work they do with youth and how the organization pivoted during the COVID-19 pandemic to assist adults and youth.

Wed., August 26, 2020
2:00 PM - 3:00 PM (CDT)
