We have the opportunity to hire a Special Appointment Faculty member (non-tenure track) for the Fall & Spring semester in the School of Business at SCSU in New Haven, CT. This is a full-time position with benefits at the rank of Assistant Professor for 1 academic year, with a possibility of it turning into a 2-year appointment. Salary range is $70-$80k depending on qualifications. Requirements: Earned doctorate degree Teach 3 classes per semester and conduct 5 office hours per week - combo on online (in BBL9) and on-ground (to be determined based on COVID) Must have recently published works in peer-reviewed journals (several in past 5 years) - there is no flexibility on this requirement Looking for candidate that can teach in some or all of these areas: - Intro to Information Systems - AI for Business - Project Management - Expert Systems - Supply Chain This position would start late August (about 6 - 7 weeks from now).
