All:

I hope everyone is safe and healthy in this time of pandemic and protest. I have been working with a group of exceptional geoscientists to develop an anti-racist action plan for geoscience organizations and societies.

My colleague, Dr. Hendratta Ali, has posted a petition that supporters can sign:

https://www.change.org/p/geoscientists-call-for-a-robust-anti-racisim-plan-for-the-geosciences?recruiter=936695691&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=copylink&utm_campaign=share_petition&utm_term=B%3ESearch%3ESAP%3EUS%3EBrand%3EGeneral%3EExact

Please share widely. One hope is that this can serve as an exemplar for other disciplines.

I  hope to “see” many of you eventually on zoom at a conference or workshop or coffee hour!

Best,

Julie
