perspectives in international business (cpoib) would like to share with you this virtual issue exploring
cpoib’s writings on crisis, crisis effects on vulnerable groups and the role of MNCs in disruptive times, free to access until 5 June.
In 2016 an editorial published in cpoib extensively discussed the fragility of the contemporary International Business environment (Roberts and Dörrenbächer, 2016). Crisis, crisis effects on vulnerable groups and the role of MNCs in disruptive times
have been key themes of cpoib since the financial crisis in 2008-9.
This virtual special issue provides some insights, with the recent paper entitled ‘Global health and international business: new frontiers of international business research’, by Frederick
Ahen (2019), directly addressing International Business issues that will be directly impacted by the Covid-19 crisis.
