Introduction

Cross functional collaboration is a group of people with different functional expertise coming together to work toward a common goal. In many cases, the team is simply a group of people from the different departments across a business working on solving a specific problem or a set of problems. Agile project management is a modern, flexible approach to project management that
allows a team to break large projects down into more manageable tasks, which are tackled in short iterations or sprints thus enabling a team to adapt to change quickly and deliver work fast. Given the pace at which project management must be conducted these days in an era of global hypercompetition, examining the profession within the contexts of international trade and globalization is a must for academics and practitioners alike.

Objective

The objective of this proposed publication is to provide a single volume for an underrepresented aspect of project management, especially as it pertains to international business/trade within the context of globalization.

Target Audience

The primary target audience for this proposed publication is scholars who need a single-volume Reference book encompassing the major components of agile project management within the context of crossfunctional collaboration. The secondary target audience is practitioners who need the same for their work.
