Introduction
The concept of governance is not a new one but nowadays we hear words as corporate governance, organizational governance or good governance frequently. Corporate governance can be considers as an environment of trust, ethics, moral values and confidence, as a synergistic effort of all the constituent parts, that is the stakeholders, including state, the public etc, professional, service providers, and the corporate sector. One of the consequences of a concern with the actions of an organisation, and the consequences of those actions, has been an increasing concern with corporate governance.
Objective
The purpose of this book is to facilitate researchers and policy experts for effective, entrepreneurial and prudent management that can deliver the long-term success of the company. Corporate governance is the system by which companies are directed and controlled. This book discuss different theories of boards of directors are responsible for the governance of their companies and their practices around the globe.
