Journal of World Business e-Meet-the-Editors Session

The Journal of World Business (JWB) is planning to host its first online e-meet-the-editors session on April 11, 2020. This initiative by the JWB
Editorial Team is aimed at supporting scholarship in increasingly digital academia as well as improving outreach to all parts of the international business community. JWB will hold monthly e-meet-the-editors sessions.
The session will feature a panel of JWB editors who will discuss the specific goals and objectives of JWB, the recent performance of JWB, and the expectations
of editors for potentially publishable papers. Open and moderated discussion will address the process of writing for publication in top
international business journals, the policies and practices of JWB editors, and critical factors that shape editorial decisions on
submitted manuscripts.
The overall purpose of these sessions is to help scholars and doctoral students to develop quality research papers on issues that are of relevance to JWB
and other high-quality international business journals.

10 minutes: Overview of JWB aims, scope, and performance.

40 minutes:

Panelists discuss questions provided by attendants in advance

The process of writing for publication in top journals

Critical factors that shape editorial decisions on submitted manuscripts to JWB.

40 minutes: Panelists answer questions from the audience.
