The purpose of the position will be to coordinate the implementation of Best Management Practices (BMP’s) to reduce/eliminate nutrient loading caused by livestock manure within the Munuscong River Watershed. The coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the program including contacting landowners, writing and implementing landowner agreements, providing outreach on individual BMP’s, coordinating construction activities, producing outreach materials, organizing quarterly steering committee meetings, organizing public outreach meetings, permit compliance, and technical reporting. The selected candidate will be based in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan with work happening in the Munuscong watershed centered in Pickford, Michigan. Duties will be performed under the supervision of the CLMCD Executive Director.
