Texas A&M University at Galveston has recently opened two positions as follows:

1) Tenure-track Assistant Professor:

The Department of Maritime Business Administration (MARA) at Texas A&M University at Galveston invites applications for a full time tenure-track position with a 9 month academic appointment beginning September 1, 2020. Applicants will be considered for an Assistant Professor title to conduct high impact research and teaching (undergraduate and graduate courses, both face-to-face and online) in Business Analytics with emphasis in Maritime and Logistics fields. This person will also be expected to engage in internal (departmental and university) and external (professional) service. Salary and research budget are competitive.

2) Postdoctoral Fellowship:

Texas A&M University at Galveston (TAMUG) seeks applications for a competitively awarded postdoctoral fellowship from highly qualified candidates interested in any aspect of marine sciences, oceanography, coastal/ocean engineering, marine policy and management, or maritime affairs. Expectations of the postdoctoral fellows are to elevate the research effort at TAMUG. The proposed research must focus on one of the three Pinnacles of Excellence identified in the campus strategic plan:

(i) Energy & Maritime Complex,

(ii) Marine-Focused One Health, and

(iii) Coastal Resiliency & Viability

A multi-disciplinary university faculty committee will review the application materials and select postdoctoral Fellows.
