Call for Proposals to Guest Edit Book Series Volume

Book Series: Emerging Issues in International Business and Global Strategy

Editor-in-Chief: Associate Professor Hussain G. Rammal, University of Technology Sydney, Australia

Publisher: World Scientific

We invite proposals for edited volumes for the book series, ‘Emerging Issues in International Business and Global Strategy’.

Synopsis of the book series:

The international business environment remains in a state of constant change that requires firms to adjust and respond strategically to stay competitive. Increased automation, artificial intelligence, and the 4th industrial revolution (Industry 4.0) are challenging the way international firms conduct their business. Also, the aging population in many countries, environmental issues such as climate change, increased bilateral and multilateral trade agreements, growing income disparity, and increasing anti-globalization sentiments present both opportunities and challenges for businesses.

Developed economy MNEs are expected to respond rapidly to these challenges and opportunities by applying innovative strategies. However, the rise of emerging market multinational enterprises (EMMNEs) through the application of their unique management style and strategies, and rapid learning through mergers and acquisitions are challenging the traditional approach to competition in the global marketplace.

This book series aims to address these emerging issues by contributing to the knowledge in these areas and influencing future research in the field.

The first volume in this series, ‘Contemporary Entrepreneurship Issues in International Business’, guest-edited by Pavlina Jasovska, Danielle Logue and Hussain Rammal, will be published in January 2021.

We are now identifying suitable proposals for the second and third volumes for publication in 2022 and 2023.
