Faculty Position in International Business
The Ivey Business School at Western University seeks a candidate
for a Probationary (tenure-track) appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or Tenured appointment at the rank of Associate Professor in the area of
International Business. The successful candidate will contribute to the school’s
extensive research on international business/global strategy. The successful candidate will be expected to teach international business subjects in undergraduate, MBA, or EMBA programs, or in the MSc or PhD programs. The position is available to begin in
July 2020, although alternate start dates may be arranged. Over the last 20 years, Ivey has been consistently ranked among the top 10 schools worldwide for its international business research.
Tenured Position: Applicants for a tenured appointment at the rank of Associate
Professor will hold a PhD (or equivalent degree). The ideal candidate will have published in the highest quality academic outlets and is a recognized expert in his or her field of research.
Probationary (Tenure-Track) Position: Applicants for a probationary (tenure-track)
appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor must already have, or be nearing completion of, their doctorate. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and the ability to publish in high quality academic outlets.
