Hello!

I'm looking for a new graduate student to start this Fall. This is a funded position at either the MS or PhD level, depending on the student's goals. If you or someone you know is interested, please contact me!

The School of the Earth, Ocean, and Environment at the University of South Carolina (UofSC) is seeking a graduate research assistant to support NSF #1933395, described here. The graduate student will conduct and analyze interviews, analyze lab activities, assist with workshop development and implementation, and work with a large, multi-institution quantitative dataset using hierarchical linear modeling. Project specifics will be determined based on the student’s experience and interests, and training in each research methodology is available. UofSC offers M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Geological Sciences and Marine Science, as well as a Master of Earth & Environmental Resources Management degree.

Application review will begin in January 2020. UofSC’s Bridge to the Doctorate program is also available via a separate application to support traditionally underrepresented minority STEM doctoral students. Please contact Katherine Ryker ([log in to unmask]) to apply for or learn more about either opportunity.

Sincerely,
Katherine Ryker
