Attached is a job announcement for a Wildlife Disease/Invasive Program Manager in northwestern Illinois.  The position will be posted in the town of Lena in the scenic Driftless Area of Illinois and is centrally located less than 2 ½ hours away from Chicago, Milwaukee, and Cedar Rapids.  Pay is competitive with an estimated starting salary between $59,000 and $68,000 and cash overtime opportunities.



Primary responsibilities are the oversight of the Illinois Department of Natural Resources Chronic Wasting Disease surveillance/management program and other disease surveillance, with additional responsibility for feral swine management and follow-up with large carnivore sightings (mountain lion, wolf, black bear).
