International Business Pedagogy Workshops May 28 -31, 2020, Atlanta, GA An Offering of the National CIBER Network Hosted by Georgia State University Center for International Business Education and Research ***REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN *** *** SUBMIT YOUR POSTER PROPOSALS *** Invest in your professional development by participating in the 2020 International Business Pedagogy Workshops hosted by Georgia State University’s Center for International Business Education and Research on May 28-31, 2020 in Atlanta, Georgia. Held since 1992 by a consortium of CIBERs (Centers of Excellence designated by the U.S. Department of Education), International Business Pedagogy Workshops have trained hundreds of business faculty from around the U.S. and other countries. Why Attend? * Refresh your knowledge of the content, pedagogy, and resources for teaching international business; * Learn from, and be inspired by, master teachers who have amassed years of experience (e.g. Roberto Garcia, Patricia McDougall Liesl Riddle, Attila Yaprak); * Participate in such plenary sessions as teaching effectiveness, and instructional technology for teaching IB; * Deepen your knowledge of functional areas in IB, including international management, international marketing, international entrepreneurship, and international financial management; * Receive hands-on guidance in designing a customized syllabus for your on IB course; * Take home a rich bundle of teaching materials you can use in your classroom; * Share your own teaching innovations in a Poster Session! Registration Thanks to the sponsorship of CIBERs, the early-bird registration fee is only $699 and covers meals, coffee breaks, and teaching resources. Application deadline for early bird admission is: April 30, 2020. Faculty Fellowships A limited number of faculty fellowships are available, reducing the registration fee to $400. The deadline for faculty fellowships is due April 1, 2020.
