Assistant Professor of Finance

DOMINICAN UNIVERSITY's Brennan School of Business announces a search for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Finance, effective August 17th, 2020. Candidates with expertise in all areas of finance are encouraged to apply. The anticipated teaching load for this position is three courses per semester.

Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellent teaching and experiential education, and the ability to work successfully with a diverse student body at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. A PhD (or DBA) degree in finance, evidence of effective teaching experience, and an active research agenda are required. Highly qualified ABD candidates will be considered, with PhD (or DBA) required in hand by August 17, 2020.

Preferred Qualifications:

*         Professional experience and a willingness to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the following areas: corporate finance, investments, international finance, financial markets and institutions, and options/derivatives.

*         Experience teaching students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

*         Online teaching experience and/or the willingness to teach online or hybrid courses.

*         A record of research contributions commensurate with experience.

*         A PhD (or DBA) degree from an AACSB-accredited institution and professional licensures holders.

About the Brennan School of Business:
The Brennan School of Business is fully accredited by AACSB-International, and enrolls approximately 350 undergraduate business majors, and 100 graduate business students within the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and the Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) Programs.
