These positions will be permanent seasonal (13/13) positions. The purpose of this Outreach is to determine the potential applicant pool for this position and to establish the appropriate recruitment method. This position may be filled permanently through a non-competitive lateral reassignment or competitively through USAJobs. A reassignment would provide a lateral move for a Forest Service employee from one position to another without promotion. In order to receive consideration, the employee must have competitively held the target grade of GS-06 and meet all the qualification requirements.
