Introduction
In recent years, many developing countries including those in the region of
Sub-Saharan Africa have made concerted efforts to become integrated into
the global information society. From the development of information
communication technology (ICT) policies to the implementation of such
coupled with investments in infrastructure, these countries deserve
attention. This edited book, tentatively titled "Developing Countries and
Technology Inclusion in the 21st Century Information Society" will examine
trends in ICT adoption, mobile technologies and their applications in
different sectors and ICT for development (ICT4D) and use to empower people
as well as sustaining growth in many service areas.

Objective
The book covers all forms of Information Communication Technology (ICT)
tools and services: Adoption, Diffusion, Use and Impact.
1. Combined several published chapters from IJICTRAME into one volume on
ICT in Developing Countries.
2. Add value to the limited literature about Africa and Developing
Countries; especially on ICT Adoption, Use & Impact.
3. Add impact in serving as a great resource for researchers, students,
instructors and libraries.

Target Audience
The book is targeting university libraries, instructors, researchers and
students. Other groups are businesses and organizations including
not-for-profit and social businesses. The book will be a global reference
resource on ICT for Africa and other developing countries. Researchers and
students actively engaging in conversations, academic work and scholarships
that are focused in Africa and developing world regions will find the book
very relevant.

Submission Procedure
Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before *November
30, 2019*, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining
the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be
notified by *December 1, 2019* about the status of their proposals and sent
chapter guidelines. Full chapters are expected to be submitted by *January
5, 2020*, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for
manuscript submissions at

to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind
review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for
this project.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted
to this book publication, Trust in Knowledge Management and Systems in
Organizations. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-blind peer
review editorial process.

All proposals should be submitted through the eEditorial Discovery®TM
