Molde University College (Norway) announces one scholarship in the area of International Business/Marketing We are seeking candidates with a strong background in the areas of Business and/or Marketing. However, candidates with a strong background in statistics, mathematics or related fields are also encouraged to apply. The Scholarship: - The appointment period is up to 4 years. An appointment period on 4 years includes 25% working duties to the College (teaching and/or supervising). The positions will be remunerated at wage level 54 on the Norwegian State salary scale, with gross salary from NOK 479 600 a year (approx., €46 900 EUR; $52 000 USD – depending on exchange rates), of which 2 % is deducted for the Norwegian State Pension Fund. Qualifications: - You must have completed a Master's degree and the minimum average grade of the Master's degree should be grade B or better on the ECTS grading scale, or an equivalent average grade on other grading scales. - A good statistical knowledge and background is necessary. - Ability to use, or willingness to learn different statistical packages (e.g. STATA, 'R'). - An interest in the topic of exit behaviour of firms. - Excellent written and spoken communication in English. Applicants whose first language is not English must have a pass in an approved test in English. Candidates must have one of the following approved English tests: o IELTS (Academic) with an overall score of at least 6.5, with no subtest less than 6.0 o TOEFL: 600 (paper-based test), 94 (Internet-based test) o In extraordinary circumstances, formal documentation of language skills can be relinquished. In such cases, the candidate's language skills will be assessed in an interview.
