While the western world has already started talking about the CSR2.0 and CSR 3.0, the other countries are still stuck with the philanthropy. Despite certain criticisms on the CSR activities, more companies in the world are inclining their strategies towards corporate social responsibility. The CSR Executives have the task of reconciling the various programs, quantifying their benefits, or at least sketching a logical connection to the business, and securing the support of business line counterparts. CSR can not only refer to the compliance of human right standards, labor and social security arrangements, but also to the fight against climate change, sustainable management of natural resources and consumer protection. In the Developed nations, the basic needs of the population do not require so much support as in the under-developed nations. This Conference is designed to understand and deal with the unprecedented impacts of CSR on the working population, society and environment and therefore to elaborate the various frameworks for it with a view towards developing its practice in an evolutionary way. The Sixth annual edition of conference will give new direction to the deliberations in different parts of the world. The world needs to come together to make the earth a better place to live. Objective The conference aims to provide a common platform to the corporate, government agencies, NGOs, civil society, academics and the other groups to share their expectations, aspirations and responsibilities. Conference also has the objective to create a Think-Tank, bringing together representatives from various parts of the globe, covering different domains of business and society on a single platform. Research in the domain of CSR and Sustainable Business along with Sanitation, Climate Control, Work Life Balance, Philanthropy, Responsible Products, Business Ethics, Social impact and other topics shall be shared in the form of Paper presentation, poster exhibition by researchers and professionals from various universities and institutions. Presentations and debates will highlight current thinking and how these issues are being addressed around the world nowadays. Call For Papers The conference will bring together the Business Leaders, Govt Policy Makers, Non-Government organizations, Consultants, Researchers, Academicians, Students and representatives from other elements of civil society to discuss a broad array of topics related to corporate social responsibility across the various parts of the world. We are specially inviting the PhD candidates from social sciences, law, business sciences and economics as well as from natural sciences and engineering to engage in a dialogue on solutions for global challenges of sustainability and CSR. The conference welcomes paper submissions from all disciplines on topics including but not limited to: o Supply Chain Sustainability o The Role of Governments in Business o Woman rights and workplace environment o Waste Management o Self-Regulations, Codes of Conduct & Voluntary Compliance o Corporate Graft and Whistleblowers o The Role of NGOs and other Elements of Civil Society o Workplace safety o Socially responsible products o Low-Carbon Energy and Sustainable Industry o Child Labor, Forced Labor and Labor Trafficking o Reconciling the Interests of Management and Workers o CSR Issues relating to Multinational Enterprises o Mining and Sustainability Principles o Health for all o Sustainability Reporting Standards o CSR and consumers: cause related marketing, social marketing o CSR Networks and Co-operations CSR Practitioner’s Track The conference will focus on two broad tracks: research and practitioner. The research track will focus on a more academic perspective with presentation of research in the CSR area, whereas the practitioner track will have the presentations from the corporate / NGO projects and initiatives along with the case studies in the CSR area. However, the conference sessions will have mixed presentations from both the tracks, for benefit of all. In both the Research and Practitioner track, the proposals can be submitted in any of the following categories: (a) Full Paper (8-12 pages) (b) Short Paper / Work in Progress (4-6 pages) (c) Practitioner Presentation Abstract (1 Page Abstract) (d) Poster Presentation (1 Page Abstract) Important Dates Proposals Submission - September 15, 2019 Acceptance/ Review note - Ongoing (Within one week of submission) Camera Ready Submission - September 25, 2019 Registration Deadline - September 25, 2019 Conférence Dates - October 10-11, 2019 Limited numbers of grants are available for the deserving researchers. Application for the same must be sent to the organizing team, well in time Paper Submission Format Language: The use of English language is applied to all papers. No other languages are allowed. Page Size: Documents must be formatted in the ISO A4 (210 X 297 mm. or 8.3X11.7 in.) paper size. The top, bottom, left and right margin should be 1 inch. Typeface: The entire paper should be written in 10-point Times New Roman. Please follow the template for heading and sub-heading styles (available at the conference website). Line Spacing: All papers should follow single line spacing for the text. Referencing Style: Papers should follow the APA Style of referencing ( www.apastyle.org). Paper Submission All papers must be submitted online through the easychair conference management system, using the following link: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=csr2019 Along with your paper / abstract, please also submit the author’s profile (one paragraph) and a passport size photograph in a .doc /.docx format. The template is available on the conference website. Paper Publication All accepted papers will be published in the Special Publication for Conference Proceedings bearing ISBN No. from a reputed publisher. The proceedings will be available at the time of the conference. Extended papers will also a find a place on the special issue of reputed international journals. Paper/Poster Awards There will be three best paper awards in each of the Research and Practitioner Track of the conference. All presented submissions will be eligible for this competition and the decision will lie with the jury consisting of eminent experts of the area. Each of the best paper awards will carry a citation and a prize. The best paper awards will be announced in the valedictory session of the conference.
