Dear all,
The STEM Education Innovation and Research Institute (SEIRI) at IUPUI
seeks applicants for an Assistant Director. SEIRI's mission is to
advance the state of the art of Discipline-Based Education research and
practice across IUPUI's campus and beyond.
The role of the
Assistant Director is to work with the Executive Director to help
realize this mission and advance SEIRI's vision to be a nationally and
internationally recognized center of excellence for STEM education
research and innovation, contributing to the advancement of STEM
education in Indiana and the nation. This includes the expectation that
the activities of SEIRI will enhance the ability of IUPUI programs to
attract external funding. This position will be expected to serve as
Co-PI or Senior Personnel on several proposals submitted for external
funding. The Assistant Director will be provided the opportunity to
teach one class per academic year within their discipline at the
discretion of the appropriate school. This is an ideal position for an
individual interested in STEM education research and pursuing an
academic career.
While the ad indicates a June 1 close date, I know they are now seeking additional candidates.
Best wishes,
Kelsey Bitting
