Dear all,

The STEM Education Innovation and Research Institute (SEIRI) at IUPUI seeks
applicants for an Assistant Director. SEIRI's mission is to advance the
state of the art of Discipline-Based Education research and practice across
IUPUI's campus and beyond.

The role of the Assistant Director is to work with the Executive Director
to help realize this mission and advance SEIRI's vision to be a nationally
and internationally recognized center of excellence for STEM education
research and innovation, contributing to the advancement of STEM education
in Indiana and the nation. This includes the expectation that the
activities of SEIRI will enhance the ability of IUPUI programs to attract
external funding. This position will be expected to serve as Co-PI or
Senior Personnel on several proposals submitted for external funding. The
Assistant Director will be provided the opportunity to teach one class per
academic year within their discipline at the discretion of the appropriate
school. This is an ideal position for an individual interested in STEM
education research and pursuing an academic career.
