The University of Wisconsin-Madison, Division of Extension seeks applicants
for the Community Food Systems Program Manager position. The Community Food
Systems Program Manager works with faculty, staff, and partners to develop
needed community food systems program activities and manages the Community
Food Systems Extension Program. This position manages and supports outreach
educational programs designed to build the capacity of community residents,
leaders, organizations and First Nations to build and enhance place-based food
systems to improve community health and well-being.

Candidates should:
Have a demonstrated record of interdisciplinary collaboration and
using a systems approach to food systems efforts
Be able to serve rural and urban communities
Be able to coach Extension Educators in recognizing the historical
context for racial inequities and its role in shaping impacts on food systems
and communities. Identify needs and develop plans to address the needs of
diverse and underserved audiences and encourage/support outreach efforts for
these audiences through an equity lens, with appreciation for the ways race
and other identities intersect with community-based program efforts
Have educational program development skills including planning and
implementing programs, participatory and systems level evaluation, and
communicating program impact and value to stakeholders
