Position: The Management Department at Deakin Business School (AACSB accredited) has a tenure track position at the lecturer / Senior lecturer level in the field of Strategy and International Entrepreneurship. Applicants should have, or be about to complete, a Ph.D. degree in Management, Strategy, Entrepreneurship or International Business. Candidates need to demonstrate their ability to publish in leading international peer-reviewed journals and provide evidence of teaching effectiveness.

The Department of management is the largest academic unit in DBS with a full time academic staff of 45 organized into several disciplinary areas, including OB, sports management, arts management, HRM, leadership and international business and strategic management. The Department is a key contributor to the MBA, Master of commerce, Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Commerce. The Department also has a vibrant research culture with recent publications appearing in Journal of Management, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Business Ethics, Sloan Management Review, Leadership quarterly etc.
The position: The lecturer/senior lecture in international business and strategy will be primarily responsible for teaching strategic management in the MBA, masters and undergraduate programs. The Department offers a balanced teaching workload, competitive compensation, research incentives and opportunities to work across disciplines. Staff in the discipline are active in the Academy of International Business, Strategic Management Society and Academy of Management.
