Job Title: Executive Director, Folks Center for International Business

Job Description:
The Darla Moore School of Business has established the Folks Center for International Business (FCIB) for the purpose of enhancing the global positioning and capabilities of the Moore School. More specifically, the FCIB is designed to serve as the academic-corporate partnership for providing strategic direction and resources regarding the overall international activities of Moore School; and to facilitate the integration of the corporate world into the process of identifying research, programmatic initiatives, and curriculum design for understanding, and developing, critical skills associated with successful global leadership.

The primary responsibility of the FCIB Executive Director is to recruit and manage a set of high level corporate partners and relationships that recognize the need for, and value in, developing global managers; and that have an interest in being involved with the education, development, and career progression of international business graduates from the Moore School’s nationally recognized international programs. The Executive Director will facilitate Moore School/FCIB interactions to sustain and further enhance leading-edge market positioning, structure, and curriculum of our international programming. The Executive Director will collaborate with the School’s Office of Career Management and FCIB partners in facilitating internships and other experiential activities to enhance permanent professional positions upon graduation for international business students; and develop and assist with structuring high quality, value creating projects for corporate partners that leverage faculty expertise, corporate need, and student development in international arenas across functional areas.
