Graduate Research Position in Fish Ecology Description A graduate position is available beginning in the fall 2019 in the Dept. of Environmental Sciences at the University of Toledo http://www.utoledo.edu/nsm/envsciences/. The successful candidate will study age-0 walleye feeding ecology in western Lake Erie. The goal of this work is to quantify the diet of age-0 walleye across temporally and spatially variable environmental conditions. The student will process diets of fishes collected during 2019, and analyze current and historical data. The Student will work closely with partners at USGS Great Lakes Science Center. Student support consists of an RA stipend, student medical insurance, coverage of some fees, and a tuition waiver. MS stipend is $15,900 for the academic year with additional summer salary. Two years of funding are available. Primary consideration will be given to students applying at the MS level, however students with highly relevant background applying at the PhD level will be considered.
