Hi My friend Jim Buscetta is President of the Harris Nature Center Foundation. Jim is looking for one or 2 people to assist their Foundation and serve on thier Board. They’re open to undergraduates, graduate students, faculty or staff. The HNCF meets once a month; second Monday of the month, from 630-830. The HNCF assists the nature center with fundraising activities to match with local township funds to accomplish the nature centers mission. They also assist with other volunteer activities at the nature center. If you’re not familiar, the Harris Nature Center is in Okemos; just 6ish miles and 15 or so minutes from campus (3998 Van Atta Rd, Okemos, MI 48864; http://www.meridian.mi.us/visitors/hidden-gems/visit-harris-nature-center).
