Need a summer job? The Roth lab is hiring! I am looking for two motivated students to work on the red swamp crayfish response team, and one to work on Great Lakes predator diets.

Job duties for the red swamp crayfish response team are numerous. The students will be expected to set and retrieve crayfish traps, assist with red swamp crayfish eradication efforts in collaboration with the MDNR and USGS, help collect predatory fishes for diet analysis, and process collected crayfish samples. The student must be willing (and able) to drive approximately 2 hours daily to the invasion epicenter in Novi where project activities occur.

Duties for the predator diet job include: traveling to port cities on weekends to help collect fish stomachs from anglers and analyzing diet contents in the laboratory on non-travel days.

Please send me your resume and unofficial transcripts to apply. The deadline to apply is April 5.

Thank you,

Brian
