Destination Auction is Looking for Volunteers in Food & Beverage, Greeters, Silent and Live Auction!
Destination Auction is the premier fundraising event for the Hospitality Association and the Alumni Association, featuring travel and experience packages donated by alumni and other industry partners in a live auction and a silent auction. If you are interested in volunteering for Destination Auction on March 30, please email Emily Deese ([log in to unmask]) or Lauren Johnson ([log in to unmask]) to sign up! Food from Olive Garden and Buffalo Wild Wings is provided and many HB professors are giving extra credit for volunteering. You must attend one training date to volunteer. Training dates are Wednesday March 27 and Thursday March 28 in the HB Dining Room of Kellogg from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Les Gourmets is Looking for Volunteers!
Les Gourmets is a formal, seven-course, world class reception and dinner led by students in conjunction with The School’s faculty. Students manage all aspects of the event including sales, marketing, purchasing, finance, culinary, bartending, and serving - creating a night to remember each spring for hundreds of proud parents, alumni, faculty and friends. If you are interested in volunteering for Les Gourmets on April 13, Please email HR Director James Miller at [log in to unmask] if you have any questions. Training session will take place on Monday April 1 and Tuesday April 2 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the HB Dining Room. You only need to attend one date. Many professors will be providing extra credit if you volunteer and food will be provided! Relay for Lie March Madness
March Madness 2019 is quickly approaching and Relay for Life is too! The Hospitality Association has partnered with Relay for Life to create a group for everyone to place their brackets. American Hotel & Lodging Association Pizza House Fundraiser (AHLA)
Come out and support AHLA while enjoying some pizza on March 26 from10:30 to 4:00 am! Show the attached flyer at checkout to have a portion of your bill go towards AHLA.
Road to Broad 5k!
The Broad College of Business is participating in Road to Broad 5k! This is a fundraiser to support ITEC, a Nonprofit group that supports after school technology learning for elementary
school children. The Road to Broad 5k will be on March 24 at 11:00 am, beginning and ending at The Auditorium. There will be snacks and t-shirts for runners. It costs only $15 for MSU Students (prices will increase to $20 after March 17). Sign up here:
