A workshop on Technology, Work and Internationalization will be held on May 29-30 2019 at Urbino University, Italy, as part of scientific activities of the PhD in Global Studies. Established and young scholars are invited to participate and contribute papers and work in progress on one of the following thematic areas (non exhaustive list below): 

- Digitalisation, multinationals and FDIs; 
- Technology and fragmentation of production/slicing of Global Value Chains; 
- Changing geography of innovation and talents; 
- Technology, labor market organisation and productivity; 
- Technical change, offshoring, and reshoring;
- Societal challenges of international organization of labor and production; 
- Knowledge sourcing, international technology transfer and global resource management

Workshop date: May 29-30 2019
Venue: DESP University of Urbino Carlo Bo, Urbino, Italy
Deadlines: submission of a 500 words abstract by April 15 2019 to email: [log in to unmask] ; selected papers to be presented will be indicated by April 30th 2019
Registration: a free registration will be requested by May 5th 2019
Format of presentation: 25 minutes + discussion

Limited funding is available to contribute to travel expenditures of paper presenters.
