North Country Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area, partnered with Mason-Lake Conservation District, is now hiring for multiple seasonal positions for invasive species management in northern Michigan. Positions available: Crew member, Crew lead, Seasonal Field Technician
Location:  Based in Scottville, Paris, or Cadillac, Michigan and serving Lake, Mason, Mecosta, Missaukee, Osceola, Wexford (dependent on position)
Employment Terms: Ranging from 3-5 months, dependent on position
Required Education:  progress towards or completion of a Bachelor's degree in natural resources, biology, environmental sciences or a related field, OR high school diploma and experience in the landscaping industry
Pay Rate: $11-$17, dependent on position
Starting date: Preferred April 22nd - May 6th

Job duties vary with position but will generally include manual, mechanical and chemical methods of invasive species management activities in the field, as well as recording field data using datasheets, GPS units, hand-drawn field maps, and the Midwest Invasive Species Information Network (MISIN) phone app or website
