The Race in 21st Century America (RACE Conference) - Call for Student Proposals is open to undergraduate and graduate students. The theme of the conference is
race, democracy, and socialism. Proposals may address the theme of Race, Democracy, and Socialism in the context of (but not limited to): Citizenship, Social Movements, The Changing Political Landscape in the Era of Trump, Education, The Wealth Gap, Urban
Renewal, Environmental Justice, Multicultural Feminisms.

Deadline to submit a proposal: 5:00 PM EST on Monday, February 25

Accepted proposals will be notified no later than Friday, March 1

The 2019 RACE Conference will be held at Michigan State University’s Kellogg Center on Monday, April 1 from 8:30 AM-7:00 PM.
