There is a great job opening in our agency (Wildlife Division) for a full time manager position to lead our Public Lands Administration Unit.  We have approximately 400,000 acres of Wildlife Division administered lands and nearly 4 million acres of state forest lands that are co-managed by the Wildlife Division.  This is a great job!

Natural Resource Manager 14- Public Lands
$29.33 - $43.16 Hour, Lansing, MI, Permanent Full Time

Job Description
This position is responsible for leading multiple professionals in the successful development and delivery of wildlife land administration activities throughout the state.  This position is a first line supervisor to 6 employees including specialists, biologists, and land surveyors.  The position is responsible for land administration including easements, exchanges, disposals, leases, purchases, resolution of trespass cases and any other matters that involve real estate managed by the Wildlife Division.  Incumbent will work with numerous partners across the state and interests to implement land administration strategies.  This position will work closely with the Policy and Regulations Unit Supervisor to ensure land use regulations are completed appropriately.
